NuggetShirts.com was started in 2007, originally as a parody concept poking fun at logos and political figures. Somewhere deep in the Blue Ridge we thought it would be cool to have nuggets on shirts, so we came up with the most creative name we could think of - NuggetShirts! The concept was launched and in 2008 we started printing and selling t-shirts.

Our first shirts were printed on demand by direct to garment. While that worked out ok, we wanted something better so we started using screen printing and specialty films for a more quality product. We started using better t-shirts too, so our customers get a quality shirt at a great price. Anyways, we took a bunch around the streets of Asheville and they were an instant hit. So then we took a bunch up to NLQP and again, instant hit. That's when we knew we had something.

So, we teamed up with The Funky Oak Tree, the best print shop in the world, and launched NuggetShirts.com in the beginning of 2009. Then we came up with the concept of Plaidola.com and HoodRichTees.com. Our site allows us to have all three stores with one checkout, which was also designed by the guys at the print shop. So, we are now officially a branch of The Funky Oak Tree.

We can now offer 3 different websites, each having their own unique concept with designs no one else has anywhere. NuggetShirts.com has the famous Nugget Text and prints with the option to sparkle like real Trichomes. At Plaidola.com, everything is Plaid, and we mean everything! Plaid spiders, plaid text, plaid flowers, even a plaid Che. Over at HoodRichTees.com, you can get a fully customized tee representing your city, your state, your country, your street, your block, your crew, your band, whatever you want. All of those t-shirts have the additional option of Sparkle, Bling, Platinum Metallic, and Alligator Skin prints, in addition to your standard solid color prints.
